Microsoft Windows 2000 Giveaway

Microsoft has announced that from January 17 until February 4, users can register to win a full retail copy of Windows 2000 Professional.

The contest, open to US residents only, will have three separate drawings for the winners, giving users three chances to win. Winners will be notified by either e-mail or phone within seven days of the close of the contest, and it is limited to one entry per person per week.

The first drawing, open until January 23, will give away 1,000 copies of Windows 2000 Professional.

In the second drawing, register between January 24 and January 30, to have the chance to win one of 2,000 copies.

Register the week of January 31 through February 4 to win one of 3,000 copies of Windows 2000 that Microsoft will be giving away.
