Coinciding with the launch of Office 365 on Tuesday, Microsoft rolled out the final stable version of Office 2010 Service Pack 1.
This is the update to the SP1 beta that was published last November, and it includes security, performance, and stability upgrages as well as a "roll up" of all the previous patches and fixes that were issued.
One of the most talked-about improvements in SP1 is the added support for Google's Chrome browser by Microsoft's Office Web Apps in Sharepoint 2010, which was first revealed in May at TechEd 2011 Atlanta.
Office 2010 SP1 is only available as a manual download right now, and likely won't make it to Windows Update until the end of the Summer, so get it here today!
