Get detailed system information and benchmark your PC with AIDA64

Budapest developer FinalWire Ltd has released AIDA64 Extreme Edition 3.00 and AIDA64 Business Edition 3.00, a major new version of its diagnostic and benchmarking tools for Windows PCs.

The new release comes with completely rewritten memory bandwidth and latency benchmarks, along with optimized 64-bit benchmarks for AMD "Kabini" and Intel "Haswell" processors, plus support for the latest generation of AMD Radeon and nVIDIA GeForce graphics chips.

The memory and multi-threaded cache benchmarks have been rewritten with new optimizations spanning AVX2, AVX and SSE-capable processors from AMD, Intel and VIA. There’s also a new block-random method implemented in the memory latency benchmark too, to counter the effect of hardware prefetchers and to minimize TLB issues that plagued AMD Phenom processors.

New optimized 64-bit benchmarks for AMD’s latest processors are also included, with support for the newly renamed 2013 AMD Mainstream APU (previously codenamed "Kabini") and 2013 AMD Elite Mobility APU ("Temash") added. Similarly, Intel’s fourth-generation Core processors ("Haswell") are also covered by new AVX2 and FMA-optimized 64-bit benchmarks, along with preliminary support for Haswell’s souped up "Crystal Well" L4 cache, which is partially responsible for vastly improved GPU performance on the fourth-generation Core chips.

The new build also supports two new SSD drives, namely Crucial’s M500 and OCZ’s Vertex 450, while GPU support has also been extended to the latest AMD Radeon HD 7330 and HD 7990 processors, plus the entire nVIDIA GeForce 700 series.

AIDA64 Extreme Edition 3.00 and AIDA64 Business Edition 3.00 are both available as function-limited 30-day trials for PCs running Windows XP or later, with prices starting from $39.00 for an AIDA64 Extreme Edition non-commercial license.
