Stylish protection from the latest Inateck laptop sleeves [Review]

Inateck laptop cases

The world is a harsh place and if you carry your laptop around with you it's almost inevitably going to pick up knocks and scrapes.

We've looked at Inateck's range of protective sleeves in the past and the company has just launched three new versions aimed at keeping your kit in peak condition.

The smallest MP1300 is designed for the 13-inch Macbook Air and comes with a separate little pouch for a mouse or power adaptor. It has the soft, felt finish we've become familiar with on earlier versions. The flap has a Velcro closure and inside are two compartments lined with soft material. There are also two pockets on the back large enough to take a phone, although these don't fasten.

The two larger models are the MP1430, which is aimed at 14-inch laptops, and the LC1510, for 15-inch models. Both are accessed via a double zip. While the MP1430 has the same felt finish as the MP1300, the larger LC1510 uses a woven wool fabric that looks rather like it's come from a gentleman's overcoat.

Essentially the same design, though differing in size and material, both the larger sleeves have a handy zipped corner -- separate from the main zip so you can open it without the laptop falling out -- allowing you to leave a charging cable plugged in with the device inside. Both also have an inner zipped pocket to keep pens and accessories handy without risking them scratching the laptop. They both come with a soft screen cleaning cloth too.

All three are nicely made with soft linings to offer protection for your device. They're smart enough to carry on their own but also slim enough to slip into another bag or backpack for longer journeys. As always with this type of case sticking anything bulky in one of the pockets rather spoils the svelte lines, but that aside they offer a good and cost effective way of protecting your laptop.

They are all currently available at $16.99 each on Amazon, for more details and links to buy visit the Inateck website.
