If you have a 4K TV or monitor, you can enjoy Ultra HD content from the likes of YouTube, Netflix, and Amazon. You can get 4K Blu-rays, but you’ll need a compatible player, and they aren’t that cheap.

Starting today, Google is offering a new way to get your hands on the latest 4K resolution movies.

If you’re in the US or Canada you can purchase 4K blockbusters on an Android device or on the web and stream them via a Google Chromecast Ultra, Sony Bravia Android TV, or a Xiaomi Mi Box 3.

For most people, that will mean buying a Chromecast Ultra in order to be able to view these movies, but it will only set you back $69 and there’s some more good news -- when you purchase the new dongle, you’ll get your first 4K movie free. You get to choose between several quality films, such as Captain Phillips, Ghostbusters (2016), and more!

In total, Google is offering more than 125 movies in 4K resolution, using VP9, with more planned for the future.
