I read that Mountain Lions new system wide sharing feature does not support YouTube but does support Vimeo.  A big FU from Apple to Google.

Google kept picasa's logo (adding google's colors) and basic layout for the first release.  Now, about the only similarity is that google-colored logo.

You may not be hating, but you aren't being entirely truthful either.  Not sure if it's intentional or not at this point...

but i will say that just because a feature is touted as the next best thing, if it is unreliable it might as well not even exist...

think of it as a car that breaks down routinely.... wouldnt you just rather take the bus everyday, consistently knowing it will be there instead of hoping your car will work 6 out of 10 times riding to work nad having to scramble to make last minute plans?

wouldn't you rather wait for a car that is near 100% reliable?

if you are a good mechanic you could drive a hot rod to work everyday and fix it just as often.... if you are a geek you could customize your phone a million times over..

but the average driver is not a mechanic, not a geek, and just want something that just works..... EVERYTIME!!!

The GAP listened to its customers, quickly reverted back, and apologized after its mishap.

Here we have Mr Joe just saying MS should and could do the same... But they prob wont. I think the logo is ugly, and it made me think of a foreign country, and not an American super-brand.

Simple. That's how software works. You insert a serial code. Your years of programming missed that point.

But, before you blow a kidney, you have to ask yourself, was anything that was stated in the ad incorrect or overblown?

Oh, and companies aren't rewarded necessarily for inventing stuff.  (Innovation invention.)   All that counts is bringing it to market successfully, and if that involves inventing, refining, augmenting, acquiring or partnering, then that's what they do.  All that counts in my book is that the process be ethical.

IMO, Flash was a red herring for Apple (and Microsoft).  The only one I think really wants to see HTML5 as the dominant app delivery platform is Google.  And that's likely because their lion's share of revenue comes from web advertising.

It's a crappy situation really - if Flash is going to live, I wish they would continue to support Flash on mobile. Either kill it completely, or support it everywhere.

FYI: Aggregate data isn't *yours*...you never owned it and it has no ties to your person.  It is like claiming the DOT steals your data by laying the counter-lines across roadways to gauge the amount traffic...don't be ridiculous.
