Oracle Adds XML Support

Oracle, makers of popular server and database software, announced today that along with the shipment of its new data analysis tools Oracle Discover 3i and Oracle Reports 6i, comes XML support. XML, or eXtensible Markup Language, is the latest efforts from W3C to integrate ecommerce and interaction between various Web sites. Discover allows users to create Web documents in various formats including XML, while Reports allows employees to personalize reports they receive. The new software is currently in beta and available on the Oracle developers page.
