Microsoft Schedules Millennium Installation Fair

Microsoft has announced the Millennium Installation Fair to highlight Windows Millennium and its latest Home Networking features. On January 29 at the Microsoft Campus in Redmond, any family currently connected to a home network running Windows 95 or 98 can attend the fair and receive an upgrade to explore the latest technology.

Attendees will also receive a gift and complimentary refreshments while Microsoft technicians perform the upgrade. To participate in the fair you must have at least a 150Mhz processor with 32MB of RAM, as well as CD-ROM and floppy drives, a modem, and 500MB of hard disk space. If you do not have a network card, you must be willing to physically install one, as the Microsoft technicians will set up the software.

To receive an application to attend the event, send e-mail to [email protected].
