Google offers Pixel XL with free case

Google Pixel

If you do not fancy the Apple iPhone 7 Plus or the new Samsung Galaxy S8+, Google still has a very attractive option for fans of bigger smartphones -- the Pixel XL. It has a premium build, fast internals, an amazing camera, and software support straight from the search giant itself.

Making the Pixel XL an even more interesting option is the fact that Google is now offering a free case with the purchase of its larger Android 7.1-powered smartphone. Here's what you need to know.

This promo is available for Pixel XL devices purchased straight from Google Store, and, in order to take advantage of it, you have to add both the Pixel XL and the Pixel XL Case by Google to your order.

We are talking about both versions of the case, the silicone and the clear models, so you can pick whichever version you want. When it's added to the cart, you'll see a discount that equals the value of the case applied automatically. The former costs $35 while the latter normally goes for $30, so it's a nice bonus.

In the end, you'll only pay for the smartphone. A Pixel XL can be had for $769 through Google Store, if you want the 32GB version, or $869, if you want the 128GB model. It's available in Very Silver and Quite Black at the time of writing this article, with the Really Blue limited edition being listed as unavailable.

A two-year protection plan for the Pixel XL is listed for $99. With the purchase of a Pixel XL you can get a free Project Fi SIM card. If you're interested, click this link to take you to the Google Store product page.
