MP3.com has acquired seeUthere.com in a stock-swap deal valued at $168 million based on yesterday’s closing price of MP3.com’s stock. The acquisition expands MP3.com’s services outside of the controversial MP3 business. seeUthere’s service is for musical artists who want to manage their concerts online. Online ticket sales, concert promotion sites, and other promotional options are provided for members.
