EaseUS Partition Master 11 adds hard drive cleanup

EaseUS has shipped EaseUS Partition Master 11, adding hard drive clean and speedup tools to the regular partition-managing mix.

Both the Free and Professional editions gain a "Cleanup and Optimization" module, which could free up some valuable space before repartitioning. The "Junk File Cleaner" checks for leftover system and application files, as well as selectively wiping your web history.

This covered more areas than we expected, with support for cleaning up after Edge and Windows apps, but CCleaner still found more data to wipe on our test system (7.5GB v 7.15GB).

Other "Cleanup and Optimization" features include a built-in defrag tool and a "large file" finder.

Elsewhere, EaseUS Partition Master 11 Professional now offers an improved Windows PE bootable recovery environment.

The official New Features list also explains that the program can now "migrate and clone system stably", which is reassuring.

As usual, EaseUS Partition Master 11 Free is restricted to basic features only, while EaseUS Partition Master 11 Professional ($47.96 right now) adds partition resizing, migration to SSD/ HD, a command line interface, and is licensed for commercial use.

EaseUS Partition Master 11 Free and EaseUS Partition Master 11 Professional are available now for Windows XP and later.
