Of the multitude of properties Googles owns, Maps and Calendar are two of the more popular ones. Both products can easily be associated with one another in the case of business travelers, so why not bring them together?

That's exactly what Google is doing, making your Calendar appointments available to see while using Maps. This isn't just driving either, it will work just as well if you are taking public transportation.

There is one important step you have to take to make this work. When you set up an event in Calendar, you will need to enter the location address in the "where" field. You will also need to be signed into calendar when you open maps and sign in. This will make your events appear.

Google Maps product Manager Zach Maier says "Seeing your Google Calendar events on Google Maps is the newest way to save time and make the most of every day".

This feature is available right now, but for the moment it is Android only.
