VA Linux to Sell Linux Desktops

Properly named StartX, the series of computers available from VA Linux will feature pre-configured Linux systems bundled with a graphics and sound card integrated onto the Intel chip. The Register is reporting the cost to be under $800 for the StartX SP2, featuring a 466MHz Celeron or a Pentium III at 533MHz or 733MHz, along with a 10GB or 12GB hard drive and a 48x CD-ROM and a 17 or 19 inch monitor.
