Next Generation Windows Services - Yay or Nay

All over the news in the last few days, Microsoft has once again delayed the announcement concerning its Next Generation Windows Services, previously scheduled for Thursday, June 1st. John Lettice of the British site The Register has written an interesting piece discussing the possibility of the project being tabled indefinitely. The huge undertaking by Microsoft has been delayed several times before, the most recent due to the expected ruling in the anti-trust case against the Redmond giant. Microsoft broke the news to reporters, saying a "final decree... in our continuing antitrust matter... would distract attention and focus from our event next Thursday."
