Gnutella-Based Search Engine

Reports are flying that Gnutella creators are looking at creating a Web search engine based on the ultra fast, unique Gnutella protocol. One such example, InfraSearch, is currently beta testing its services. The freelancing group of developers for Gnutella reportedly showed the service to Netscape pioneer Marc Andresson last week when they met with him. One of the main goals of the search project is to prove that the technology behind Gnutella is way ahead of the game, and to show that Gnutella isn't just for porn and MP3s. Visit InfraSearch.com for more details and to see an example.
