AOL-Time Warner Phase 1

The merger between AOL and Time Warner has gotten past the first step, shareholder approval. By quite a large margin, investors this morning voted in favor of the proposed joining of the two companies. Should we be surprised that investors are in favor of a $123 billion marriage that would rank the corporation number one in Internet services and just as high in content?
