It has been busy in Redmond with Microsoft releasing Windows Media Player 7, reporting numerous deals with music companies to promote the player, and the immediate availability of Small Business Server 2000 beta. This next version supports up to 50 users, and includes Windows 2000, Internet Security and Acceleration Server, SQL Server 2000, Exchange Server 2000, FrontPage 2000, Windows Terminal Services, and fax and modem services. Direct Access Members can get the latest version via the SBS Channel Readiness Kit, which includes the SBS2000 beta, while the general public cannot obtain the beta.
