TP-Link is one of my favorite networking brands thanks to its high quality and affordable prices. Today, that company launches the Archer GE650 -- an absolutely gorgeous Wi-Fi 7 gaming router.

The Archer GE650 delivers up to 11Gbps across three bands, including 5764Mbps on 6GHz, 4323Mbps on 5GHz, and 574Mbps on 2.4GHz. The router features one 5Gbps WAN port, one 5Gbps LAN port, and three 2.5Gbps LAN ports. Yeah, this router is absolutely loaded with multi-gig ports, making Gigabit seem downright ancient.

Zyxel launches Wi-Fi 7 gateways with advanced 10G Ethernet capabilities

Zyxel has released new Wi-Fi 7-enabled gateways in the North American market, including the EE6601-00 Tri-Band Wireless BE19000 10G Ethernet VoIP with SFP+ and the EE6510-10 Tri-Band Wireless BE18000 10G Ethernet Gateways. These new devices promise to deliver faster, more reliable internet speeds, while also supporting Zyxel’s new edge-cloud managed Wi-Fi services.

One of the standout features of the EE6601-00 is its recent certification by the Wi-Fi Alliance, making it one of the first Wi-Fi 7 products to achieve this recognition. With Wi-Fi 7 (802.11be) technology, the EE6601-00 offers speeds up to 46 Gbps, advanced features like OFDMA, Multi-User MIMO, beamforming, and Multi-Link Operation (MLO) for increased reliability and faster data transfers across multiple bands. These features ensure seamless connectivity throughout the home, eliminating dead zones, while also offering flexible 10G Ethernet and fiber options for service providers.

TP-Link releases Deco X55 Pro AX3000 Whole Home Wi-Fi 6 Mesh System

Today, TP-Link launches the Deco X55 Pro AX3000 Whole Home Mesh Wi-Fi 6 System. A notable feature is all three included access points have dual 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet ports. These ports can take advantage of the potential multi-gig speeds provided by the user's local ISP, offering ultra-fast wired connections.

The system also utilizes Wi-Fi 6 technology to deliver up to 3Gbps wireless speed. Thanks to its 160 MHz channel, the Deco X55 Pro performs 250 percent better than four-stream Wi-Fi 5 mesh systems, doubling both bandwidth and throughput.
