Microsoft's Tahoe Hits RC1
In other Microsoft news, release candidate 1 of its upcoming SharePoint Portal Server has been announced along with branding and other such details. Previously codenamed "Tahoe" this new package allows corporations to find and share information quickly and easily. According to the press release SharePoint Portal Server "provides seamless knowledge portal integration with the Microsoft Office and Windows® operating system productivity desktop environment, allowing enterprise customers to integrate robust document management, search, subscriptions and inline discussions into their document collaboration process."
