More 3Com Exclusive Beta Tests

3Com Beta Test Services sent word over that a pair of new products are currently starting beta testing. The 3Com Transcend Network Supervisor beta improves an already existing product with a new user interface and added features. With this software you can monitor your small to medium-sized network and detect stress levels.

The second test, 3Com's Network Performance Manager and LAN Agent (formerly known as Dynamic Access) is also a network monitoring tool that gives users easy access to business critical information.

According to the notice sent to BetaNews, qualified applicants must have the following:

-Server Running Windows 2000 or better (Multiple Server Configurations
Helpful)
-Server Must Have 256 MBs of RAM
-Minimum of 3 Clients (Prefer More) with clients using Win9x, NT and 2000 (no Linux) who can test with the server
-Native foreign speakers of French, German, Italian, Spanish or Portugese (Not Required)
-Experienced with networking and deploying software over a network
-Looking for both previous users and new users of these applications.
-Complete Internet Access including FTP, WWW, and E-Mail
-Be familiar with 3Com products and understand networking.
-Be willing to dedicate as much as 10-15 hours a week to the testing.
-Be willing to report on a daily basis your progress with the test.
-Be fluent in English
