Logitech's POWERPLAY mousemat lets you wirelessly charge your mouse as you use it

You might have thought that mousemats had been consigned to the history books, but Logitech has other ideas. Designed with the needs of gamers high on the list of priorities, Logitech's new POWERPLAY mousemat not only ensures great control, it also wirelessly charges mice to avoid the problem of running out of juice at an inopportune moment.
Of course, you need a POWERPLAY-compatible mouse in order to take advantage of this feature, and Logitech has also launched two new mice. The G903 and G703 are the latest addition to the company's high-end wireless gaming mouse range, and they work with the charging pad.
Logitech unveils 2017 Doodle Collection mobile wireless mice

When it comes to product design, there are many paths to take. You can, of course, go for a basic and boring design, or opt for an elegant style. But what about fun? Playful and whimsical designs are not just for children -- adults can enjoy some funkiness too.
A great example of fun design comes from Logitech. Each year, it releases a collection of mobile wireless mice with playful exteriors. For 2017, the company is introducing the Doodle Collection for its M325C and M317C wireless mice. Believe it or not, this is the ninth such edition! This year, the company has gone extreme, as the doodles are really weird.
Logitech launches two new gaming headsets -- G433 and G233

Logitech today launches a duo of headsets designed for gamers. The G433 7.1 Gaming Headset and the G233 Prodigy Gaming Headset both feature the company's patent-pending Pro-G audio drivers, but Logitech says that the starting point for the units was actually fabrics.
Both sets of headphones are wired, and the G433 has a hydrophobic, stain-resistant fabric finish and there are four colors to choose from: Royal Blue, Fire Red, Triple Black, and Camo Blue. The cheaper G233 has sports mesh Cyan Blue ear pads and comes in soft-touch black. But of course, while the materials used may have been a starting point for Logitech, there's more to the headsets than this.
Logitech releases Slim Combo keyboard case for new 10.5-inch and 12.9-inch Apple iPad Pro

Ever since the first iPad was released back in 2010, people have dreamed about replacing their laptop with the tablet. The big draw, of course, was not having to carry a heavy and bulky notebook. At the time, many such portable computers were quite thick and heavy, making them a chore to lug around. Even though there are much thinner and lighter notebooks nowadays, the dream of replacing them with an iPad remains; even more since the release of iPad Pro.
Earlier today, Apple announced new 10.5-inch and 12.9-inch Apple iPad Pro tablets. While the company makes its own keyboard case for these slates, that hasn't stopped third-party companies from making arguably superior offerings. Today, Logitech unveils its latest such keyboard cases for the newest iPad Pro models. Called "Slim Combo," it will protect your iPad Pro while also making it a powerful laptop -- it even has a place to hold the Apple Pencil. The keyboard is removable, so you can use the iPad as a traditional tablet without removing the tablet from the case. It even draws its power from the Smart Connector, meaning no need for batteries!
Father's Day giveaway: Win your dad the 'Ultimate Man Cave' from Logitech

On June 18, Father's Day will finally be here. This is a holiday that aims to highlight the importance of dads. If your father is still living, not only should you get the man a gift, but spend time with him too. Sometimes memories are the best gifts of all.
If your dad is particularly exceptional, you could totally get him a new man cave setup, but understandably, that is probably too expensive. Well, thanks to Logitech, you still may be able to get your dad the 'Ultimate Man Cave'. The company is giving one winner a Sony X900E 4K television and a Harmony remote. A TV and a remote alone do not make a man cave, however, so Logitech is including a lot more too.
Logitech launches MX Master 2S and MX Anywhere 2S, plus multi-computer mousing with Logitech FLOW

Logitech today announces the latest additions to its MX range of mice -- the MX Master 2S and MX Anywhere 2S. We'll come back to the mice in a moment, though. There's more exciting news with the launch of Logitech FLOW.
This is Logitech's new software which makes it possible to use the same mouse to control up to three computers. Perfect for anyone who has two or three computers on their desk, Logitech FLOW not only makes it possible to use a single mouse and keyboard to control all of the devices, but also features between-devices copying and pasting.
Logitech unveils K840 Mechanical Keyboard for non-gamers

Mechanical keyboards are excellent for many tasks, but for some reason, they have recently become largely associated with gaming only. This is a shame, as typists can benefit greatly from a quality mechanical keyboard. There is no reason that office workers should be made to suffer through using low-quality keyboards.
Apparently, Logitech wasn't happy with these keyboards only being designed for, and marketed to, gamers. Today, the company unveils a new conservatively designed mechanical keyboard for office use. The K840, as it is called, is devoid of flashy lights and colors, making it more appropriate for a business setting.
Logitech SLIM FOLIO turns your 5th generation Apple iPad 2017 into a laptop for productivity

When you want a tablet for consumption, there is no better product than the iPad. For creation, however, it can be lacking. For typists in particular -- including students needing to take notes -- the lack of a keyboard makes it a tough sell. While the Pro iPads can be used with an official keyboard from Apple, those tablets are very expensive. Luckily, there are third-party offerings for the more affordable traditional variants too.
Today, Logitech announces a new keyboard case for the 5th generation iPad 2017. Called the "SLIM FOLIO," it transforms Apple's inexpensive 9.7-inch tablet into a laptop. It also protects the iPad from drops, bumps, and scratches. Logitech says the keys are quite durable too, as they are rated for 5 million strokes. Its scissor keys offer an impressive 1.5 mm key travel for a quality typing experience.
Logitech launches Universal Folio keyboard case for iPad, Android, and Windows 10 tablets

I recently bought the all-new iPad 2017 and love it very much. The problem? There aren't many cases for it. While some first-gen iPad Air cases may work with it, that is not a guarantee. Sure, there are some universal cases that leverage elastic straps to accommodate many models, but those are often a poor experience.
Today, Logitech announces an all-new universal keyboard case that actually looks good. Rather than use cheap elastic, the company has come up with some brilliant 4-point adjustable grips. This looks to be a very elegant product that solves a common problem. Of course, it will not work with all tablets, just some models that range from 8.9 to 10 inches. Best of all? The clever case is compatible with iOS, Android, and Windows 10.
Logitech and TED launch Spotlight Presentation Academy to improve public speaking

Successful public speakers are not born. In other words, it is a skill that must be learned and fine-tuned. Sure, some folks may have higher anxiety than others, but almost anyone can master the skill with enough practice and confidence. Technology can even help too, such as the brilliant Logitech Spotlight Remote.
Speaking of Logitech, the company has partnered with TED for a new initiative called Spotlight Presentation Academy. Since TED is all about public speaking and storytelling, and Logitech manufactures the aforementioned Spotlight Remote, this seems like a marriage made in heaven. The focus of the partnership is to improve people's public speaking skills, and the academy will select 15 individuals that are looking to get better in that regard.
Quality meets affordability with Logitech G413 Mechanical Backlit Gaming Keyboard [Review]

While I am a huge fan of mechanical keyboards, I am not a fan of all mechanical keyboards. What I mean to say is, not all of them are created equally. In fact, many of these keyboards can be downright terrible -- even from some so called reputable brands. You see, it is not uncommon for a company to simply slap its name on a low-quality offering. With that said, some lesser-known brands sometimes make really good keyboards -- it can be a crapshoot.
All of these variables can make it difficult for consumers to make a good choice -- especially when they are looking at low-priced budget models. Logitech is looking to change this, however, with the all-new G413 Mechanical Backlit Gaming Keyboard. Priced at a very low $89.99, you get the company's legendary quality and much-respected Romer-G switches. I have been testing this keyboard and have come away very impressed.
Logitech unveils 'Z537 Powerful Sound With Bluetooth' 2.1 speaker system

Bluetooth speakers can be very convenient, as they are often designed to be compact and portable. With that said, the wireless connection can be used in tabletop speakers too. After all, sometimes you just want to connect a phone or tablet while relaxing at home -- a battery is not needed. In fact, home speaker systems can sometimes have better and louder sound, thanks to bigger speakers and the ability to move them apart for better stereo separation.
Today, Logitech announces a new speaker system called "Z537 Powerful Sound With Bluetooth." This 2.1 system features dual satellites and a subwoofer. You can connect devices to it wirelessly, but also via a wire. You can easily switch between the two connection types too. Unfortunately, bass control is located on the rear of the subwoofer -- not the control pod.
Logitech Harmony works with Google Home

When I first set up a Logitech Harmony hub in my home, it was life-changing. No longer did I need to have multiple remote controls littering my living room table. The one Harmony remote (or mobile app) controls my television, cable box, sound bar, and Xbox One. Once I linked it with my Amazon Echo, things got even better -- I could control my entertainment devices by voice. If I am dozing off on the couch while watching TV, for instance, and the remote is out of reach, I can simply say "Alexa, tell Harmony to turn off the TV." Like magic, the television shuts off.
Amazon Echo is not the only voice assistant device available -- Google offers its own called "Home." It is very similar to Amazon's offering, but it is not compatible with all of the same devices and services. For instance, Home did not work with Harmony. Today, this changes, as both Logitech and Google's hardware can now work together. It is not compatible with all Harmony devices, however -- only Hub-based models, such as Elite and Companion.
Logitech launches MK850 Performance Wireless Keyboard and Mouse Combo for Windows, Mac, Android, and iOS

If you are like me, running just one operating system isn't enough -- maybe you dual boot or have multiple computers. I, for example, have a Windows 10 desktop, MacBook Pro laptop, and a Linux box. The problem with this setup, you see, is that my desk gets very crowded and messy. Believe it or not, I have just one monitor for all of my computers (I switch between HDMI and DisplayPort), but multiple keyboards, touch pads and mice -- it can be distracting.
Today, Logitech launches a brilliant product that should solve my dilemma. The MK850 Performance Wireless Keyboard and Mouse Combo works with Windows, Mac, Android, Chrome OS and iOS. It should work with desktop Linux distributions too, such as Ubuntu and Fedora. With the click of a button, both the keyboard and mouse can switch between up to three computers or operating systems. This includes mobile devices, such as tablets and smartphones (the mouse will not work with iOS, however). Best of all, both of the input devices are ergonomic and look elegant.
Logitech G Pro Mechanical Gaming Keyboard now available

PC gaming is a huge business nowadays, with consumers not only spending a lot of money on games and hardware, but dedicating much time to the pastime too. Heck, people don't just play video games themselves, they also watch other people play them. Amazon's Twitch platform is full of people streaming themselves playing games, and even more people watching them.
As the gaming scene grows, the hardware offerings seem to get better and better. After all, the bigger the market, the bigger the incentive to cater to it. Logitech has long supported the PC gaming community, especially with its iconic "G" series of hardware. Today, the company is bringing a new professional-level keyboard to market. Called "G Pro Mechanical Gaming Keyboard," it is designed for those that take their gaming sessions seriously and are willing to invest in quality accessories.
