All Palms to Have Internet Access Within the Year

The CEO of Palm Inc., Carl Yankowski vowed today, "All of our Palms will have access to the Internet by the end of the year," in an address to investors at a Merrill Lynch
computer technology conference in New York.
Yankowski asserted that there will be "an attachment that will clip onto [palm] device[s]," for users who have already purchased palms lacking Internet access.
Also mentioned were purported "Blue Tooth" wireless connections that would permit
for any device to connect, without the use of cables, to supplementary computers and devices such as printers.
According to Yankowski, Palm is reportedly in talks with Sony Corp for possible
collaboration with Sony’s "smart phone" product lines. "We are in a dialogue with Sony to see if there is any overlap in those areas." Yankowski revealed in his address.
Palm Inc., who’s market share is now being challenged by Microsoft’s Pocket PC
is now in the middle of another interesting facet in the Microsoft anti-trust trial,
it seems that the government believes that Microsoft is also using their monopoly
to threaten Palm’s business.
