PDF24 Creator v7 gains Explorer integration
Free virtual PDF printer PDF24 Creator has been updated to version 7.0 with a range of new and enhanced features.
Top of the list -- and not before time -- is Explorer integration. Right-clicking one or more files now displays options to open, split, join, optimize, extract and convert them, while right-clicking the desktop allows users to import from the scanner, camera or clipboard.
The program now does a better job of detecting and using appropriate file names when you’re printing web pages, processing files from the clipboard, converting PDFs to images, and more.
As well as combining selected files, PDF24 Creator v7 now also has an option to append or prepend other documents of your choice (a title page, say).
The PDF24 Assistant has seen a major interface revamp and now has larger buttons, icons, mouse effects, and options to add, remove, reorder and join all your selected files.
Other interface tweaks include rearranged dialogs and extended command line options, and a host of bug fixes most notably means PS and EPS output should be working again.
PDF24 Creator v7 is a free virtual PDF printer and editor for Windows XP and later.
