New Windows apps and games
IniNotes is a note taking application for students. It supports real-time note taking, audio recording and transcribing, pictures, text recognition and more.
Content can be shared and collaboration is also an option in the application.
The Linux distribution Ubuntu is now available on the Microsoft Store. It complements Ubuntu 20.0.4 LTS, which has been available for a bit longer.
Ubuntu on Windows allows you to use Ubuntu Terminal and run Ubuntu command line utilities including bash, ssh, git, apt and many more.
Notable updates
Microsoft renamed its Your Phone application to Phone Link, and the mobile companion app to Link to Windows.
PowerToys 0.57 with stability fixes and improvements released.
