Apple launches new iPad Air with M3 chip, AI features, and updated Magic Keyboard

Despite owning a fancy iPhone 16 Pro Max, I also have an iPad Air. Why? Well, even though my iPhone has a pretty big screen, sometimes I just want even bigger. Plus, I can use it when my iPhone is charging.
Why didn’t I go with an iPad Pro? Quite simply, Apple’s Pro tablets are too expensive for what I mostly use them for -- media consumption. Hell, I don’t need an expensive iPad Pro for watching TikTok on the toilet.
iPadOS 18 introduces new intelligence features and apps for Apple Pencil

I’m addition to unveiling iOS 18, Apple has also unveiled iPadOS 18, bringing a host of new features designed to make the iPad more powerful and intelligent. Apple is tossing a new, cheaper Apple Pencil with USB-C into the mix, set to hit the stores in early November for just $79. It does not replace the first or second generation models, but instead, it sort of slots in between them.
This stylus has many bells and whistles like pixel-perfect accuracy, low latency, and tilt sensitivity, making it suitable for a variety of tasks such as note-taking, sketching, annotating, and journaling. However, it is missing some important features, including the lack of pressure sensitivity and wireless charging.
Apple launches surprise all-new iPad Air and iPad mini

Apple’s online store partially closed down earlier today, suggesting new products were about to be released, even though no one was really expecting anything, given there’s a big Apple event happening next week.
It turns out that Apple does indeed have new hardware to share -- refreshed versions of both its 10.5-inch iPad Air and the 7.9-inch iPad mini.
