Intuit Quicken 2002 Beta Signup

Intuit is now accepting beta testers for "Kayak," the upcoming Quicken 2002 for Windows, and "K2" for Macs. No information is available on feature sets or updates at this time, but Intuit has promised to notify BetaNews as soon as that information can be released to the public. To apply to test Quicken 2002, visit Intuit's Windows and Mac beta sites.

The minimum requirements for Windows and Mac are as follows:

Windows:
 - Windows 95, 98, 2000, Millennium (ME) or XP operating system.

 - 24 MB or more memory (RAM).

 - 60 MB or more free Hard Drive space.

 - Pentium (or comparable) processor - 90MHz or faster.
 - CDROM or DVD with 2x speed or higher.

 - Monitor set to 256 colors or higher.

Mac:

 - Mac OS 9.0 or higher.
 - 32 MB or more memory (RAM) for OS 9.x, 128 MB or more for OS X
 - 60 MB or more free Hard Drive space.

 - CDROM with 2x speed or higher.
 - Monitor set to 256 colors or higher.

 - 56k or faster Internet access and e-mail.
