Intuit Launches Refreshed QuickBase

Intuit has publicly unveiled the Fall 2004 version of QuickBase Solution. QuickBase Solution is a Web-based tool with unified data, process and communication management functions.

Features includes a new spreadsheet application with database-style application creation, e-mail notifications and form builders, field level access permissions for the spreadsheet application and e-mail, and 40 pre-built industry specific modules.

"The spreadsheet and e-mail combination is the easy-to-get-started, customizable solution for data and process management," said Jana Eggers, general manager of QuickBase. "But it creates high costs in consolidation work, communication hurdles, and security concerns. QuickBase solves this pain, providing users with a quick payback in terms of reduced work, reduced errors, and reduced risks."

Existing QuickBase customers will experience the new features when they log in; new users will be offered a 30-day trial. Monthly subscription fees start at $249 USD. Premium features are priced according to licensing terms.
