HP DeskJet 3755 is world's smallest all-in-one printer -- has shockingly low price

Believe it or not, printers are still relevant. True, smartphones have reduced the need for printing on pieces of paper, but there still could be times where it is necessary. All-in-one variants in particular can find a place in both homes and businesses, thanks to the scan and copy functionality.

If you have modest all-in-one printer needs, and don't want to break the bank, HP has you covered. Its all-new DeskJet 3755 for home use is small, cute, and affordable. Just how affordable is it? You are going to be shocked at the price.

The HP DeskJet 3755 is downright cute -- looking like a whimsical piece of art. The small stature and fun color options make it seem fun -- not boring like an office printer. Best of all? It costs $69.99. This makes it affordable for many. If you were on the fence about investing in an all-in-one printer, the low price may push you over.

When you do need to print, the HP DeskJet 3755 does 8 pages-per-minute black, and 5.5 ppm color. While this is hardly a speed demon, it should be passable for casual use. Remember, this is not intended for the enterprise.

You may be wondering how this is an all-in-one, as there is no flatbed. Actually, the HP DeskJet 3755 utilizes a roller-style solution, sucking in the paper, scanning it, and sending it back out -- much like a common fax machine.

If you need to scan a page from a book, or something else that cannot go through a roller, don't worry. HP is offering an app so you can use your smartphone's camera to snap a photo which can then be wirelessly printed.

Since the 60-sheet HP DeskJet 3755 does not have a full-featured navigation LCD screen, your smartphone will largely be your gateway to interfacing with it. You can even use the app to set the printer up with your home network -- a PC is never needed. As more and more consumers spend time on mobile devices, this type of setup -- Android and iOS -- becomes increasingly important.

While ink is usually the most expensive aspect of printing, the HP promises affordable ink too. The company explains, "with HP Instant Ink, customers can get an ink subscription plan for as low as $2.99 per month shipped to their door at no extra cost, saving up to 50 percent on ink and eliminating the anxiety of running out of ink at the worst time. HP Instant Ink includes three flexible plans and allows users to change or cancel online at any time without an annual fee".

While this adorable printer will be available in gray ("Stone"), the more exciting colors are "Electric Blue" and "Sea Grass Green". While both of those hues are attractive, I much prefer the latter.

Which color will you buy? Tell me in the comments.
