Windows Media SDK Available for Download

With the release of the Windows Media SDK, developers can now begin to develope thier applications to be Windows Media compatible, and Web designers can add support for Windows Media. Included in this SDK are Windows Media format, services, player, and encoder components to make code writing easier on developers.
The Windows Media Format component enables applications to create, read, and edit Windows Media files, as well as supporting live encoding of Windows Media.
The Windows Media Services SDK allows site developers to integrate and stream Windows Media files as well as configure and manage server components.
With the Windows Media Player SDK developers can embed the application into Web pages or Visual Basic applications with ease. Web page content can also add Windows Media using the Windows Media Encoder SDK.
