Microsoft Allegiance Open Beta Begins

Microsoft has announced that open beta testing of the online game Allegiance began Friday night. Along with lifting the non-disclosure agreement, they have released Version 1.05 Beta of the Allegiance software.

Users who wish to participate in the open beta need to visit the Microsoft.com Game Site to download the software needed to play the game. In order to play the Training Missions, users will need to download them separately from the Beta site. They were excluded from the beta download to decrease the size and make it easier for everyone to participate in the open beta program.

Many features were added to Allegiance version 1.05. For a complete list, view the release notes. If you already have the Beta 0 or Beta 1 CD, you do not need to download the new file. Visit the Allegiance Homepage for more information regarding the open beta and to learn about the game. Allegiance v1.05 will be available for download this evening at the site.
