Advance SystemCare 4 launches, adds new features
iObit has released version 4 of its flagship PC maintenance and optimization tool, Advanced SystemCare. The program comprises a number of system maintenance, cleaning, repair and optimization modules, and version 4 introduces a number of new components, including Disk Scan and Vulnerability Fix, plus a redesigned interface.
Version 4 opens with a greatly simplified user interface, designed to help the novice quickly get his or her PC optimized via Quick Clean and Deep Clean options. An enhanced Turbo Boost module is capable of disabling more unnecessary background services to reclaim precious system resources and speed up the computer.
Advanced SystemCare 4 also features a new performance monitor, which keeps an eye on your PC and rates its performance as four different level based on the core indicators. It's also capable of making suggestions to improve performance using the appropriate tools within Advanced SystemCare itself.
The program also replaces the Utilities module of version 3 by integrating IObit Toolbox, a collection of 20 free portable tools, in its place. Much of this functionality is included within the main program itself, but the Toolbox allows the end user to pick and choose exactly which tools he or she wishes to run, and there is some unique functionality here, including the Win Fix tool which resolves various known Windows glitches.
IObit Advanced SystemCare 4 comes as a single download that covers both free and paid-for versions. Functionality restricted to the Pro version (which costs $19.95) is accessible by purchasing a license key that is used to unlock the software. The Pro version boasts a deep Registry clean and malware scanning function, plus automatic and active system optimiation as well as the ability to switch between 10 different user interface themes. It requires a PC running Windows 2000 or later.
