Multi-room audio is a popular addition to homes today, with Sonos becoming a leading name in the space. But it certainly isn't the only player in the game -- Denon, a high-end component maker, also has a solution, and has now teamed with Spotify for additional functionality.

The HEOS system comes in three different models -- the HEOS 3, HEOS 5 and HEOS 7. Each is sized differently and ranges from high-end performance to portable. And now the system has Spotify built-in.

"With HEOS, you can stream Spotify in any room of your home. Listen to tracks directly from your phone, tablet, USB drives or home network. Just use the Spotify app as a remote and control your music anywhere", the streaming service states.

In addition, Denon has introduced HEOS Amp and HEOS Link, which combine to turn existing speakers and stereo systems into wireless zones. That's a handy feature for retro-fitting existing items.

Denon HEOS doesn't come cheap, but the company is a high-end product maker, so that likely isn't a surprise. You'll also need to put out the monthly fee for a Spotify Premium account, but it may be worth it for those who have the extra cash to spend.
