Happy Labor Day, dear BetaNews readers! I hope you are off from work today, spending time with family and barbecuing some food on the grill. If you are working, as some folks have to do on holidays, I salute you. I just got home from a baseball game, where my beloved Mets beat the Phillies. America's pastime is a great way to celebrate today's holiday.

Another great way to celebrate? Listening to some rocking tunes! Whether playing some Lynyrd Skynyrd in the backyard on some speakers, or curled up on the couch with the latest from Lil Uzi Vert on some headphones, music can enhance the experience -- as long as you have some decent equipment, that is. Today, Apple launches a new set of wireless cans from its Beats by Dr. Dre subsidiary. The "Beats Studio3 Wireless," as they are called, look beautiful, but more importantly, they should sound exceptional.

"Beats Studio3 Wireless brings to market the remarkably unique Pure ANC. This groundbreaking new technology uses advanced algorithms to continuously monitor your listening environment, so that it can best block out ambient noise -- not only on an airplane, but also in a noisy café or a busy office. Pure ANC also evaluates fit and adjusts for leakage caused by hair, glasses, different ear shapes and movement of your head as you go about the day," says Beats by Dr. Dre, an Apple company.

The company further says, "Additionally, Pure ANC simultaneously checks what you're hearing while noise canceling is applied against the original music content to adjust and ensure optimal audio fidelity. What's remarkable is that Pure ANC's real-time audio calibration operates up to 50,000 times a second. All of this is happening automatically while still achieving a 22-hour battery life, which is only possible with the power and efficiency of the Apple W1 chip,"

The Beats Studio3 Wireless headphones feature the legendary Apple W1 chip, which is found in the popular Apple AirPods. This should enable a high-quality wireless music experience. From a convenience standpoint, you can use the same proximity pairing like AirPods, where you can pair them with ease -- no need to fiddle with settings. In fact, thanks to iCloud, they will easily pair to all of your devices, such as iPad and MacBook Pro too.

I am excited for these, as I love the quality found on Beats by Dr. Dre products, but also, I don't like AirPods. Don't get me wrong, AirPods are a great product -- if they fit your ears. For me, Apple's revolutionary wireless ear buds cause pain. Beats Studio3 Wireless will give me the comfort I desire, with the awesome pairing functionality.

While 40 hours of battery (22 hours with ANC enabled) is more than enough for me, the quick-charging feature seems amazing. You see, if you do run out of juice, you can charge for a mere ten minutes to get 3 hours of playback. In other words, you can sit in a StarBucks for a little bit, charge your Beats Studio3 Wireless headphones, and then be good to go for three more hours -- nice!

Luke Wood, President, Beats by Dr. Dre explains, "Beats Studio3 delivers with a level of sophistication in both technology and audio fidelity beyond anything we’ve ever brought to market. Since our brand’s inception, we've strived to fix the degradation of sound heightened by the commodification of consumer electronics. Now with the right vision, team and resources, we see technology enabling the perfect sound experience in Studio3."

If you want to buy these premium wireless headphones, I am happy to say you can get them immediately for $349.95 here. They are available in several colors, such as blue, white, matte black, and red. In addition, Apple is selling two limited edition colors -- shadow grey and porcelain rose. They all look great, but shadow grey is probably my personal favorite of the bunch.

While Beats Studio3 Wireless is sort of expensive, remember folks, you get what you pay for. These headphones should last a long while. Despite what some critics of the brand say, Beats headphones do offer great sound quality. Of course, they are also very fashionable, and yes, that is important too. Not to mention, if you are an Apple user, the W1 chip will make your life easier.
