Best Windows 10 apps this week
Four-hundred-and-ten in a series. Welcome to this week's overview of the best apps, games and extensions released for Windows 10 on the Microsoft Store in the past seven days.
Microsoft has throttled the rollout of the new Windows 10 feature update, Windows 10 version 20H2, to address a list of known issues. It is still possible to download the update manually to get it installed.

New Windows apps and games
Lenovo Display Control Center is a free app by Lenovo to manage the display of Lenovo devices better.
The app displays information about the connected monitor and provides basic and advanced options to change various preferences such as the contrast, brightness, or RGB gain value right from the app.
Path Length Checker is an open source desktop program for Microsoft Windows devices designed to scan a directory, e.g. the root of a drive or a project folder, for files and folders that exceed the operating system's path restrictions.
Certain operations, e.g. the deletion of files or folders, may fail if the path limit of 260 characters is exceeded.
The program can be used to connect Samsung Galaxy EarBuds using the Windows PC, and to check the charging status of the earbuds and the case.
Notable updates
The official Alexa application by Amazon has been updated. It features a new look and comes with new features, including video calling and Drop In support.
Microsoft Edge Canary and Dev versions support vertical tabs now for all users.
Paint.net update (Store and Win32) adds full support for saving AVIF images.
PowerToys 0.25.0 has been released with bug fixes. The promised video conferencing tool has been delayed again.
