If you were to observe me playing PC games alone in my basement (yes, I am a cliché), you may hear me talking. No, I'm not a crazy person speaking to myself; I am likely wearing a gaming headset and chatting with a stranger over the internet.
If you are a serious PC gamer, you should invest in a quality headset. Look, you spend all kinds of money on your gaming computer, mouse, and keyboard; why not splurge on a headset too? Today, Sennheiser announces an intriguing surround sound headset -- the PC 373D.

This headset looks very comfortable, thanks to the George Costanza-approved velvet ear pads and heavily padded headband. The controls look rather intuitive too -- I absolutely adore the volume control wheel.
What I really like about this particular headset, is the more subdued design. Many companies associate "gaming" with "gaudy". Don't get me wrong, the Sennheiser PC 373D appearance is hardly boring, but it is not overly flashy or silly looking either. It looks both fun and mature at the same time.
If you want to buy this gaming headset, it can be yours this month for $259. Is that expensive? Absolutely. With that said, you get what you pay for. Sennheiser is a well respected company by both audio novices and audiophiles alike
