New Windows apps and games
Deus Ex GO ($4.99)
The latest part of the smash hit turn-based tactical game series by Square Enix plays in the Deus Ex universe.
The game is a turn based logical puzzle game at its core, in which you need to outsmart opponents and overcome obstacles to continue on your path.
Designed by HP, the app lets you capture and control scan jobs from your mobile device.
Use it to scan, store or route digital files using your smartphone or tablet, and one of the many HP products supported by the application.
This puzzle game is all about geometry, and trying to construct objects by combining pieces of the object with each other.
You click and drag pieces around, and connect them to each other to form larger objects this way.
The game begins slowly, but gets difficult fairly quickly.
Star Crusade is a deck building game that plays similarly to Blizzard's popular Hearthstone game.
Both you and your opponent have a deck of cards that you can play based on your supply score. Units have attack and defense values, and there are event cards as well that help you or hinder the opponent.
The game features levels, commander upgrades, booster packs, and new cards, among other things.
Play as one of seven available factions, play against human opponents or the computer, and in various game modes (casual, raid, ranked).
The Walking Dead: Season Two ($24.99)
The Walking Dead: Season Two is an interactive adventure game that is delivered as a five part series that continues the story from Season One.
If you played Season One, you will notice that decisions that you made back then will affect the story in the second season.
You need to make tough decisions that affect gameplay, and you will encounter light action sequences as well.
