Microsoft Spring Sale offers amazing deals on Windows PCs, Xbox games, apps, videos, music, and more
Spring is officially here, and for many people, that signals the start of cleaning their homes. "Spring Cleaning," as it is typically called, sees people throwing out unused items, donating old clothes, and rearranging clutter.
If you aren't in the mood for cleaning, Microsoft is offering a less responsible alternative -- shopping. The company's "Spring Sale" starts tomorrow and offers amazing deals on video games, apps, music, TV shows, movies, and hardware. There is great content to be had for Windows, Xbox One, and even Xbox 360. If you need a Windows PC, Microsoft will be offering 33 percent off select models too.
"For the gamer, the Spring Sale includes deals for Xbox One, Xbox 360, and Windows 10. Xbox games are up to 67 percent off and an additional 10 percent off for Xbox Live Gold members. Popular titles and add-ons include Battlefield 1, Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, Titanfall 2, FIFA 17, Overwatch, For Honor, and many more! If that’s not enough, choose from over 35 Backward Compatible titles on sale," says Sara Shone, Senior Product Marketing Manager, Games Marketing, Microsoft.

Shone further says, "For the PC gamer, Windows 10 games such as Fallout Shelter, Forza Horizon 3, Halo Wars 2, Astroneer, and many more games will also be in the sale in Windows Store. Some of these games support Xbox Play Anywhere, meaning one purchase gets you the game on Xbox One and Windows 10 with cross save capability, allowing you to pick up and play from different platforms."
In addition to games, Microsoft will have special pricing on Xbox hardware, like headsets and gamepads. In fact, this will be the first time the Windows-maker will offer discounts on the special Design Lab controllers.
The sale is not just a gaming affair, however. There will be quality Windows apps included, such as Adobe Photoshop Elements 15. There will also be movies (Resident Evil Complete Collection), TV shows (Big Bang Theory), and music (Beauty and the Beast Soundtrack) too.
If you have the money to spend and want to get a great deal, the Spring Sale begins tomorrow in the Microsoft and Windows stores. It is not a one-day event, however -- it lasts until April 17.
