Microsoft releases Windows 10 20H1 (2004) Build 19035 to both Fast and Slow rings

The next big feature update for Windows 10 is drawing ever closer to completion, although there are still a number of known issues for Microsoft to address.

Today the software giant releases Build 19035 to Fast and Slow Insider rings, as well as Cumulative Update Build 19035.1000 (KB4533028). The latter features no new changes but is designed to allow Microsoft to test its servicing pipeline for 20H1.

Microsoft releases Windows 10 20H1 Build 19033 -- officially names the update Windows 10 2004

You can tell we’re getting closer to the release of Windows 10 20H1 as the watermark has vanished from the Insider builds, and the latest flight, Build 19033, is available for both Fast and Slow rings.

Microsoft also says it is going to start releasing new test builds in the future from its development branch (RS_PRERELEASE) again, rather than the VB_RELEASE branch (those '20H2' builds will once again have the watermark).

Windows 10 20H1 Build 19013 arrives on the Slow ring with extra ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Microsoft releases new Windows 10 20H1 builds -- from the May 2020 Update -- to the Fast ring on a weekly basis, but it seems like something of an event when new builds arrive on the Slow ring these days.

Today the software giant pushes Build 19013.1122 out to Slow ring Insiders with a fix for the issue where the Settings app would hang or crash when accessing the System or Ease of Access sections. This build also comes with more kaomoji and a welcome update to Windows Subsystem for Linux (WSL) 2.

Windows Insiders on the Fast ring have been receiving weekly Windows 10 builds from the 20H1 branch -- the feature update due out a year from now.

There is another update coming later this year though, and Insiders on the Slow ring are receiving these 19H2 builds as cumulative updates.
