Microsoft to Publish MSDN Magazine

The Microsoft Developer Network has joined forces with CMP Media, Inc. to publish a new step in the Microsoft Systems Journal and Microsoft Internet Development Magazine. This next step, MSDN Magazine offers a full range of development solutions and technologies in one new source.

Editor-in-Chief, Michael Longacre believes that "The time is right to combine the two magazines because the technologies each covered are converging. MSDN Magazine will continue the strategic editorial focus of both publications while moving forward as new technologies and solutions emerge."

The new magazine will feature many regular columns on topics ranging from C++ and BASIC, to detailed information on Windows 2000. Other sections include various Internet topics, as well as "The XML Files."

MSDN Magazine revolutionizes the industry by offering full content both offline, and online at http://msdn.microsoft.com/msdnmag. This is all part of MSDN's continuing efforts to provide developers with the latest and most advanced information to increase the technologies available to consumers and businesses around the world.

CMP Media, Inc. is the world leader in high-tech media and information services for every aspect of technology including development and end users. They print magazines, newspapers, and various other forms of media.
