Foxit streamlines PDF document workflows with new developer tools

Developers building browser-based PDF applications have traditionally faced challenges related to performance bottlenecks, limited form handling, cumbersome signing workflows, and inconsistent cross-browser experiences.

PDF software specialist Foxit is aiming to change that with the launch of a new SDK for Web v11, which with its WebAssembly-powered rendering engine, modular architecture, and deeply refactored core components, eliminates many of the long-standing problems.

Foxit PDF Reader 2023.3 and Foxit PDF Editor 2023.3 embrace AI with new chatbot integrations

Foxit Software has unveiled major new features in its flagship PDF products with the release of Foxit PDF Reader 2023.3.23028 and Foxit PDF Editor 2023.3.23028.

Both tools -- available for Windows and Mac -- sport enhanced integration with ChatGPT with additional new features including translation, Q&A and content explanations. They also unveil the Foxit AI Chatbot, designed to answer users' questions about using the program.

Foxit Software has unveiled Foxit PDF Reader 12.0 and Foxit PDF Editor 12.0, major new versions of its PDF flagship products.

Both tools -- available for Windows and Mac -- sport a redesigned user interface, plus unveil a series of new and improved features including the ability to view two views of a document side-by-side in the same window.

Foxit PDF Reader 11 unveils major facelift and new 3D tools to accompany minor name change

Foxit Software has taken the opportunity to rebrand its popular PDF viewing and editing products with its latest major release. Foxit Reader is now Foxit PDF Reader 11.0, while PDF-editing tool Foxit PhantomPDF is reclassified Foxit PDF Editor 11.0.

Both newly renamed tools unveil revamped user interfaces with the promise of being leaner, simpler, and more intuitive to use. They both also gain support for more 3D functions and digital signature enhancements.
