Sony's Stab at PDAs

Tomorrow at the PC Expo in New York, Sony will unveil its latest creation to consumers, a Palm-like device that has yet to be given a name. The sleek blue and white stripped device will run on the Palm OS, which Sony licensed last year. Weighing in at 5.3oz, the Sony PDA will be thinner than its competitors and will also feature a dial on the side to allow users one-handed screen control.
It will also be bundled with a memory stick for increased capacity. Audio/Video capabilities were mentioned as part of the final product, though no official support has been confirmed.
The device will hit Japan in July, and the US shortly thereafter. Officials say the new device will be in time for the Christmas shopping season. For more information visit Sony.
