New Windows apps and games
Dolby Access is a free app by Dolby Laboratories that walks you through the configuration of setting up Dolby Atmos over HDMI on your Windows 10 PC.
This app prepares the PC for headphones supporting Dolby Atmos as well.
The official Lyft application has been released for Windows 10. You may use it to request rides, make payments, and split costs if you ride with friends.
Please note that it appears to work only in the US for now.
Max & Mink is an interesting puzzle game in which you control the two characters Max and Mink at the same time.
Max can fly, bend and stretch, and Mink walk and jump. Your goal in each level is to reach the level exit (door) of each level with Mink.
A basic example of how this works: level exit is a door that is too high up for Mink to reach. You position Max in a way that Mink can jump on him, and then while on him again to reach the door.
Project Studio is a project management application for Windows 10. The app supports different types of projects including personal projects and work related projects.
It features a cloud sync option to sync data across devices, and provides you with tools to plan and organize projects, and to keep track of progress.
You may invite others to work with you on the same project. Data is synchronized automatically between all participants.
Unigram is a third-party client for Telegram messaging protocol. The client is in alpha state right now, but seems to work well already and without larger issues.
X-Mercs is a turn-based strategy game that may remind you of the popular Xcom game franchise, and the film Star Ship Troopers.
The game switches between turn based missions in which you control individual units, and running things in headquarter (including base building).
Units have different stats and abilities, and you may equip them with weapons and gadgets to make them more powerful.
