Microsoft reveals the hidden story behind Bing's Image of the Day
Let’s be honest, the best thing about Bing isn’t its search results, but rather the gorgeous images that appear on the homepage every day.
If you enjoy these photos, but would like to know more about them -- such as where a picture was taken, and what it actually is -- the good news is Microsoft is now providing a full story for each new image, and you just need to scroll down to see it.

Microsoft explains:
In the Image of the Day section, you’ll find the expanded story behind each image, including a mini-map or a "quick fact." We’ve made it easier to find the options to share, save, or, when possible, download the image to use as your desktop wallpaper.
If you don’t visit Bing every day, you can visit a gallery of recent homepages and find out more about each one.
Because this is Microsoft, the new feature isn’t currently available to all. At the moment only users in the US have access to it, but it will be coming to eight more markets later this month -- UK, Canada, Australia, India, Germany, France, Brazil, and Japan.
