Grab yourself a cheap Microsoft Surface in Amazon's massive bank holiday sale
If you're in the UK, you'll know that this weekend is the August Bank Holiday. This not only means a day off work -- for most people, at least -- but also big Black Friday-type sales from major retailers.
Amazon is one of those offering big discounts, and you don't have to wait until the weekend to make a saving. For the next week, from today until next Wednesday, the online retailer has some incredible deals on Surface tablets and laptops meaning that there's never been a better time to buy one.

The savings to be made are significant -- up to 18 percent off the usual price. This discount is available on the 13.3-inch Surface Laptop (with Intel Core i5-7200U, 8GB RAM, 256GB SSD and Intel HD 620 Graphics), taking the price down from £1,249 to £1,025.99. If you're looking for a cheaper option, the Intel Core i5-7200U model with 8 GB RAM 128 GB SSD, Intel HD 620 Graphics model is down from £979 to £820, while at the higher end of the scale you can grab an Intel Core i7-7200U model with 16GB RAM, 512GB SSD and Intel Iris Plus Graphics 640 for £1,929.99 (down from £2,149), or the Intel Core i7-7200U model with 8GB RAM 256GB SSD and Intel Iris Plus Graphics 640 for £1,375 (down from £1,549).
The Surface Laptop is available in Platinum, Burgundy, Cobalt Blue and Graphite Gold options.
If you prefer the idea of a Surface Pro, you can pick one up for as little as £649.99 -- this price is for the Intel 7th Gen Core m3-7Y30 2.6GHz, 4GB RAM, 128GB SSD, Intel HD Graphics 615, 2017 model, and includes a Type Cover. There are various other configurations of the Surface Pro available with discounts of up to 14 percent.
You'd better be quick if you want to gab a bargain though as stocks appear to be limited on many models.
