A high number of organizations around the world have still not upgraded to Windows 10, despite the software being available for several years, new figures have said.

In a study marking two years since the release of Windows 10, networking firm Spiceworks found that only 60 percent of global organizations have upgraded to the newest platform in this time.

Microsoft has beaten analyst expectations once again with better than expected quarterly earnings.

The Redmond, Wash.-based giant has released its latest quarterly earnings, for Q4 FY2017, showing a non-GAAP revenue of $24.7 billion and GAAP earnings of $0.83 per share. Non-GAAP operating income sat at $7 billion.

When you want to buy a business-class laptop, there are many brands to consider, such as Dell and HP. Of course, we cannot forget the iconic "ThinkPad" line of portable workstations from Lenovo, which were made famous by IBM. There is one brand in particular that doesn't get enough attention, however -- Toshiba. Actually, its Portégé line is arguably the best such laptops for business, both large and small.

I've been testing one of the company's latest such notebooks, the X30, and I am quite impressed. Since it is a business-grade laptop, it has a pointing nub that many professionals seem to appreciate. Of course, there is a traditional trackpad too.

If you ignore its G and V series, LG makes some rather boring smartphones. Its new Q8 is an exception though. It may not have a premium design, like a high-end device does, but it is really close to flagship territory in terms of specs. In fact, it's nearly on the same level as its bigger brother, the G6.

The Q8 packs a 5.2-inch display with a resolution of 1,440 by 2,560 and it also has a secondary screen, with a resolution of 1,040 by 160. It's powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820. There's 4GB of RAM on board and a 3,000mAh battery too.
