Microsoft brings new features to older versions of Windows 11 with the KB5058502 update

It's the time of the month when Microsoft releases previews of next month's software updates, and for Windows 11 users there is the KB5058502 update preview.

Interestingly, this particular update is focused on older editions of Windows 11 -- specifically Windows 11 23H2, and the Enterprise and Education editions of Windows 11 22H2. And the update is significant; it brings not only bug fixes, but also a raft of new feature, including the almost inevitable selection of new Copilot-related bits and pieces.

New KB5019274 update for Windows 11 adds new subscription options in Settings and fixes bugs

After taking a month off in December, Microsoft has now released the first preview update of 2023 for Windows 11. The KB5019274 update does not address any security issues, but it does fix various problems and adds new features and options.

The KB5019274 update is available for Windows 11 21H2 and it, among other things, makes it easier to discover and turn on the Windows Spotlight feature. There are important changes in the Settings app, including the arrival of storage alerts for Microsoft OneDrive in the System section and the addition of Xbox subscription information.

Microsoft releases KB5016688 update to fix a slew of Windows 10 problems

Microsoft's focus may well be Windows 11 and the upcoming Windows 12, but that does not mean that people who have opted to stick with Windows 10 have been forgotten. Having released a preview of the KB5016691 update for Windows 11, the company has also released KB5016688 update for Windows 10.

Available for Windows 10 versions 20H2, 21H1 and 21H2, the KB5016688 update is a preview of the cumulative update that will be released next Patch Tuesday. Although this is a non-security update, it fixes a large number of issues with Windows 10

Microsoft releases KB5015878 update preview to bring notification improvements and more to Windows 10

Microsoft has released a new update for Windows 10 that not only addresses various issues with the operating system, but also adds new notification options for the focus assist feature.

KB5015878 is a non-security update, and it is a preview of the update that will be released more widely next month. Available for Windows 10 version 21H1 and 21H2, as well as Enterprise, Education and Server editions of the OS, the update will be of interest to anyone who has experienced problems with docking station internet connectivity, video playback in games, and other issues.

Microsoft releases preview of KB5014666 update which fixes Wi-Fi bug and adds printing features

Microsoft has released a preview of an update for Windows 10. It will receive a wider release next month, but it is available now for eager testers.

The KB5014666 update is a cumulative, non-security update. As well as fixing a number of bugs in Windows 10 versions 20H2, 21H1 and 21H2, the update also introduces a number of new printing features, as well as IP address auditing for incoming Windows Remote Management.
