Adopt a dog or cat, get a free Logi Circle Home Security Camera
The month of May is National Pet Month. As an animal lover, it is very important to me. It breaks my heart to think of unloved cats and dogs in shelters. Whenever that ASPCA commercial comes on TV -- the one with the Sarah McLachlan music -- I have to change the channel; it can literally make me cry.
If you are thinking of getting a pet, I urge you to go to a shelter, as it can save the animal's life. Logitech is upping the ante, however, as it is giving away free Logi Circle Home Security Cameras to those that adopt either a cat or dog from two specific places in May. Does a free home surveillance camera make you more likely to adopt a pet?
"Throughout the month of May, if you adopt a cat or dog from the San Francisco SPCA or Massachusetts’ MSPCA-Angell, you can receive a free Logi Circle, allowing you to easily check in on your furry friend while on-the-go. And, between June and October, Logitech will provide every on-site pet adopter at these campuses with a $50 discount coupon towards the Logi Circle", says Logitech.
The company further says, "better yet, we're giving you a chance to win your own Logi Circle, as part of our #NationalPetMonth sweepstakes taking place from April 29 to May 31. All you need to do is share a video or a photo of your pet using the #PetProud hashtag. And, if you received a Logi Circle with your new pet adoption, make sure your camera is charged and recording, so you can share your cute pet moments with us. We can't wait to see what Fido and Fifi have in store".
Logitech's Logi Circle is a brilliant home surveillance solution. It is easy to set up, and can be either wall mounted or placed on a surface. With that said, it is perfect for a new pet owner to keep an eye on their cat or dog while they are out of the house, such as at work or the store.
Quite frankly, Logitech deserves major kudos for encouraging folks to adopt from these places, rather than buy a cat or dog from a trendy pet store. Free camera or not, it is the most ethical way to get a pet.
