Best Windows apps this week

Two-hundred-and-one in a series. Welcome to this week's overview of the best apps, games and extensions released for Windows 10 on Windows Store in the past seven days.

App of the week is MALClient this time, a sophisticated app to manage your anime or manga collection in various ways.

As always, if I missed an app or game that has been released this week that you believe is particularly good, let me know in the comments below or notify me via email instead.

Check out last week's best of Windows apps post if you missed it.

Some apps are discounted for more than one week. Starting this week, only new apps and games are listed below. Check out the previous post in the series for past offers that may still be valid.

The following apps and games are discounted by at least 50 percent this week:

App of the week

MALClient

malclient

MALClient is an unofficial client for managing anime or manga. It supports the two anime communities MyAnimeList and Hummingbird for that purpose which offer databases that it uses.

The app supports manga and anime, and divides them up into different sections for easier access.

You may search or browse releases, and manage your own collection of anime or manga using the app.

It features several useful features such as options to search for characters, pin anime series, update series, or add shows to your favorites among other things.

The application features no in-app purchases or blocked features, everything is readily available right away to all users.

You may use it to pin any of the network forums, e.g. Super User, Stack Overflow or Mathematics, and browse or search questions and answers on those forums.
