Centercode Tests Secure Outlook Add-in

With the constant deluge of spam and viruses wreaking havoc on corporate e-mail systems, securing the inbox has become a necessity for most businesses. To this end, beta test provider Centercode is seeking Outlook users to trial a secure mail add-in.

Although the test requirements are strict, Centercode will be offering iPods and cash incentives.

Testers must work in a company with a minimum of 500 employees and also have e-mail account with BellSouth, Comcast, Cox, Earthlink, SBC, or Verizon. Businesses with 1000 employees or more are preferred, and a corporate firewall must be protecting the network.

Beta test applicants will be asked to complete a survey in order to join the test, and Centercode reminds users to whitelist centercode.com from any corporate spam filters. Applications will be accepted until the end of the month.

Qualifying Outlook users can join the secure mail add-in test by visiting the beta call out.
