Patriot Memory launches surprisingly affordable Signature Premium DDR4 RAM

Patriot is a company that makes many flash memory products, such as USB flash drives, solid state drives, and storage cards to name a few. System builders are probably most familiar with its RAM products, however. Along with companies like Corsair, Kingston, and G.SKILL, Patriot's sticks of RAM are very much respected. This includes Viper, which is Patriot's gaming brand.

Today, Patriot launches a new line of DDR4 RAM. Called "Signature Premium," you'd expect the memory to be expensive, but actually, it is surprisingly affordable. Capacities range from 4GB to 32GB, while there are two speeds from which to choose -- 2400Mhz and 2666MHz. And yes, they feature heat spreaders -- great for cooling and looking attractive too.

"Signature Premium DDR4 memory provides a wide range of capacities allowing the builder to choose from a variety of speeds and capacities starting with 4GB single modules up to 32GB dual channel kits. The minimalist heat spreader design offers great heat dissipation and is made from high-purity aluminum. Signature Premium DDR4 series modules offer reliability to those who upgrade or build systems for work or business and are cost effective too," says Patriot.

The company further says, "Signature Premium DDR4 series modules are built from an eight-layer PCB to guarantee excellent signal integrity for stability while also offering the extra potential for increased performance diversity across any of the Signature Premium DRAM modules. The components used all undergo a proprietary sorting process to preserve strict quality standards and higher reliability on the latest Intel and AMD platform motherboards."

Roger Shinmoto, Vice President at Patriot offers the following statement.

We are thrilled to introduce this exciting new line to the mainstream PC users and integrators. The Signature Premium DDR4 UDIMM memory with heatshield product line is offering what consumers need most: a great looking DRAM backed by solid performance and a good price.

Patriot shares the following storage and speed options with the associated kit price.

True, Patriot Memory Signature Premium aren't the fastest sticks of RAM on the market, they aren't fit for royalty, and they don't have fancy RGB lighting either, but what they do have, however, is a great performance to price ratio. The 16GB (2x8GB) 2666MHz kit in particular is an insane value -- $52.99... are you kidding me? Amazing deal. While they don't seem to be available for purchase yet, I expect they will show up very soon at retailers like Amazon and Newegg.
